Slava Lagunov passed away on October 25 aged 58. He represented all of the former Soviet Union countries for Swiss tannery equipment maker Hüni where he will be remembered as a kind and cheerful professional.
Lagunov was born in Sverdlovsk, part of the Russian Federation. In 1979 he graduated from Linguistic University, English Language Faculty with honors. After graduation he worked in India and Africa as a military interpreter.
After working for three years for the Belarusian State Economic University as a teacher of English he joined the Minsk (Gatovo) office of Hüni in 1989. In 1995 he became the Head of Hüni’s operations in Minsk covering the former Soviet states.
Slava Lagunov was married with children and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
