Expo Riva Schuh close 77th edition

Expo Riva Schuh, a leading international fair dedicated to the footwear sector, closed on January 17. The event, held at Riva del Garda, Italy January 14-17, concluded its 77th edition with 12,513 visitors. The organisers claim visitor numbers are up compared with January 2011.

Expo Riva Schuh hosted 1,230 exhibitors, with 886 of them coming from outside Italy covering a net total 32,000 square meters of exhibition space. It was the first opportunity in 2012 to preview the autumn/winter 2012-13 collections.

Exhibitors included 270 from China and 129 from India as well as 344 from Italy.

The next Riva del Garda event will be held in June and the second edition of Expo Riva Schuh India is scheduled for July 5-7 in New Delhi.
