Ukraine – Manufacturers’ Eleven-Month Sales

Ukraine's State Statistics Committee reports that leather and leather products' manufacturers in Ukraine recorded sales totalling UAH1.35 billion (USD268 million) in the first eleven months of 2007. This figure was equivalent to 0.2 per cent of all sales of products by Ukrainian manufacturers during the period.

The average monthly wage in the leather industry in Ukraine in the first eleven months of 2007 was US$167, compared with US$136 in the same period in 2006. In comparison, the average monthly industrial wage in Ukraine in the January to November 2007 period was US$303.
