Inc. magazine has ranked Foothills Leather Co number 4281 on its first-ever Inc.5,000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the US. The Inc. 5000 list catches many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc.500 list.

Foothills tan deerskins bought shortly after the hunting season ends. This is then sold to the finest garment, footwear and glove manufacturers throughout the world. Three year sales growth was reported at 53%. Located in Fulton County, NY, Foothills continue the tradition of leather manufacturing that for the last 200 years has made the Johnstown-Gloversville area the second largest leather manufacturing centre in the US.
