Russian leather production

Russia's State Statistics Committee reports that Russia produced 2.3 billion square decimetres of chrome-tanned leather products in the first eleven months of 2007, a year-on-year increase of 31.3%, according to the Interfax news agency.  Production of ‘stiff leather product' was 0.5% higher at 68.6 million square decimetres.
