Vietnam's Ministry of Industry has ordered the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Corporation to convert their nine enterprises into shareholding companies by the end of 2004, according to the Vietnam News Agency.

This will help these enterprises find it easier to attract additional investments and find new markets for their products, said the report.
