Water dosing from Olcina
System Mix is a water management system developed and highlighted by Spanish machinery specialists, Olcina. The technology enables the tanner to accurately monitor water mixing, batching and dosing. Series addition of water to a number of pieces of equipment can be executed either sequentially or simultaneously using the Olcina apparatus.
System Mix is available in manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic formats and is able to supply an unlimited number of equipment with speed and reliability.
Storage may be carried out at any working temperature and includes an automatic safety system, which prevents any hides or skins in the drum being damaged due to human error when feeding.
Data storage and print outs of water volumes used daily, monthly or even yearly can be stored on System Mix. This lets the customer monitor their water usage and enables self diagnosis of any potential processing problems which require immediate action.
The Olcina range includes System Mix, System Mix Dual and System Mix Combi. Each offers a tailor-made solution to each customer and can be installed into any existing or new tannery.
