Jumbo Universal from GeMaTa
Designed for hot and cold fatliquoring of furniture and automotive upholstery leathers, GeMaTa's new Jumbo Universal rollercoating machine was introduced to the tanning industry at Tanning Tech.
The brand new machine operates with both the rubber and engraving rollers rotating in the same direction and has been specifically developed for producing oily leathers. The Jumbo Universal employs engraved cylinders with a diameter of 300mm, and can use cylinders of different weights or operate with one or two rollers mounted on a triple revolver without any need for a counterweight cylinder.
The machine has a working width of 3.4m and is an updated version of GeMaTa's popular Jumbocoat rollercoating machine. With two rollers operating in syncro, the machine provides a more even touch to the surface of the leather, producing a more uniform finish.
