Cartigliano have been a leading manufacturer of vacuum driers for a number of years. This year, they have included an extra surface effect to their drying table on the New Turbo Vacuum Dryer machine. Their New Turbo machine is capable of drying leathers in a short time at low temperatures.

The new plates have been sand blasted to give a matt finish. Cartigliano are now the only company which offer matt finished tables as well as high shine and semi shine finishes. The sand blasted plate is particularly suitable for drying leathers which have a corrected finish. Matt plates offer better adhesion and improve the final quality of the leather following drying.

The New Turbo Vacuum drier features a dry vacuum pump which is incorporated into a closed loop system, lowering the levels of pollution. The New Turbo is available in six sizes and can have anything from one to eight tables. The most popular model has six tables.

The latest drier has a very low level of energy consumption and a typical six-table machine (7 x 3.2m table) requires only 50kW of energy and requires no extra equipment to cool down the condensate water.
