New Turkish fair dates and venues

After cancelling their FurIst event scheduled for May 20-22, 2004, Ezgi Ajans are awaiting a decision by the leather sector governing body on new fair dates and venues.

In January 2004, Istanbul was host to two leather fairs, which sent confusing signals to outsiders. It did not help that, apart from the many leather associations who steer the sector, fair organisers TUYAP and RDF had separate competitive cards to play.

All parties are now working to coordinate efforts and create a unified image for Turkish leather. New fair dates and venues will be confirmed shortly
