Stahl sell Venezuelan shares back
Stahl have recently signed an agreement to sell their shares in Productos Stahl de Venezuela CA back to their former partners. Licensing and distributor agreements have been set up to allow the new company to manufacture and sell Stahl products in Venezuela and to use certain registered trade marks for a minimum period of three years under its new name.
Locally manufactured products will carry a reference that they are produced under license from Stahl. Imported products that Stahl will continue to sell to existing customers in Venezuela will be manufactured by Stahl de México SA de CV.
Frank Policky, Stahl International's president and chief executive officer, says of the change: 'This transaction will be a positive benefit to the owners and employees of the new company which is being set up, and for the local customers in Venezuela.'
