CE marking for Mercan Makina
Mercan Endustri TAS Makina San Ltd Sirketi, located in Izmir, have a twenty-year old pedigree as an engineering consultancy in automated systems. They added tannery processing machinery in 1994 and offer turnkey projects for tanners.
All of their stainless steel drums for milling, dyeing, mixing and paddling now carry the CE (Conformité Européen) quality rating. Production of laboratory drums in a range of capacities provides an increasing proportion of production. Drums are suitable for either bovine or ovine hides. The newest drums on offer are for degreasing and dyeing with capacities of 250, 500 and 800kg. These are fully automatic but incorporate manual over-ride options. Milling drums come with chemical dosing and dust filtration systems. To cope with new orders and increased capacity, Mercan Makina recently moved to a 2,800 sq m piece of land in Kemalpasa.
