Sintuva Lithuania boost leather upholstery sales
The Sintuva leather upholstery producer in Lithuania says it recorded sales worth US$1.07 million in the first eight months of this year, compared with US$409,118 in the same period in 2003, according to the LETA news agency.
Sintuva's director, Vanda Klingiene, said that Sintuva is successfully competing against Asian companies because of their fast fulfilment of orders. For example, a Swedish company that had previously placed their orders with Thai companies have recently switched some their orders to Sintuva. This will require Sintuva to increase production by 60%. The company export nearly 80% of their production, with main export markets including Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
