Training course for young Chinese graduates
Assomac, in collaboration with ICE (Foreign Trade Institute) and PISIE (International Institute for Industrial and Economic Development), organised a training course for 17 young Chinese graduates. In September, after three weeks of training in China, the trainees came to Vigevano where they underwent another week of training that was taught by Italian teachers. Several companies, upon request, will subsequently host the trainees.
The course material covered the technical/commercial, financial, marketing and legal/contractual aspects with the aim of acquiring an understanding of 'footwear, leathergoods and tannery machinery' and the aspects concerning the setting-up a strategy for selling on the Chinese market. The object of the training was to allow the trainees to become specialised in the promotion and commercialising of Italian machinery on the oriental markets.
