Carlessi celebrate 80 years
After celebrating 50 years in the tanning sector in 2003, Fratelli Carlessi now have cause for further celebration with their 80th anniversary of the company's establishment.
They are specialised in the production of leather drying and finishing plants. A recent survey shows that more than 2,200 plants have been exported into 90 countries all over the world.
In April the company will be exhibiting at two major fairs, APLF in Hong Kong and Fimec in Novo Hamburgo in Brazil.
Carlessi's production range can be summed up as follows: Finishing lines for the pigmentation of hides, working width 1800, 2200, 2600, 3000, 3400 mm; Drying tunnels operating with steam, hot water, gas or electricity; Ecological suction units, extracting fumes from the spray cabinets; Toggle dryers; Pole dryers; Split upgrading lines with solvent-based or water-based polyurethane; Air off tunnels; Fabric-fabric, fabric-non-fabric and fabric-hide matching machines; Conditioning machines; Manual spraying cabinets and drying units for sampling; Spare parts.
Since 1995 Carlessi company have been in partnership with design engineer Giulio Tandura in a new company Linta Srl in Montebello Vicentino, Vicenza, Italy, specialised in splitting machines. This year they are also celebrating ten years since the establishment of Linta.
