Ireland’s Central Statistics Office reports that Ireland exported hides and skins worth E64.8 million in the first eight months of this year, compared with E59.4 million in the same period in 2006.
Ireland exported leather and leather products worth E24.1 million in the January to August period, as against E14.3 million in the corresponding period last year.
