New Zealand

In November 2004, 163,616 head of cattle were slaughtered for export in New Zealand. This compares with 230,054 in October and 189,999 a year earlier.

Norway

Statistics Norway reports that Norway exported raw hides and skins worth US$72.6 million in 2004, an increase of 2.4% over the previous year.
