Clariant and Tannin Corp share expertise
Clariant's Business Unit Leather and Tannin Corporation have announced a close technical co-operation aimed to improve their services in producing selected finishing chemicals.
From February onwards special Clariant pull-up oils and waxes will be produced in Tannin's production facilities in Peabody, MA, USA. Both companies are looking to share their technical and manufacturing know-how to offer their worldwide customers the best products and performance.
The excellent manufacturing capacities of Tannin will enable Clariant to further improve their specialised pull-up range. Clariant's American based affiliate - which continuously focuses on the research and development of these typical American-style leather products - will benefit by working hand in hand with Tannin. The entire new finishing range will be distributed throughout Clariant's worldwide leather organisation.
With this close partnership, a further step has been taken to build up synergies for future new products and technologies.
