Armenian leather production in 2004

Armenia's National Statistics Service reports that Armenia produced leather and leather products worth US$728,000 in 2004, a year-on-year fall of 1.9%, according to the Interfax news agency.
They also reporteds that 94,600 tonnes liveweight of livestock was sold for slaughter in Armenia in 2004, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%. In addition, Armenia exported livestock and livestock products worth US$6.18 million in 2004, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%. Armenian imports of the same types of commodities were 21% higher year-on-year at US$40 million.
