Pikolinos awarded European Eco label
Spanish Footwear company Pikolinos Intercontinental have launched their new ecological footwear collection, which has been awarded the European Eco-Label.
The Eco-Label guarantees that the footwear's impact on the environment is minimal at all stages of its life cycle from the raw materials to its final disposal as waste. The certification confirms compliance with the European Union's strict regulations on environment and durability.
Pikolinos' new collection is an example of the interest shown by footwear companies in obtaining the European Eco-Label since the beginning of the campaign carried out by the Technological Institute for Footwear and Related Industries (INESCOP), within the framework of the European LIFE-Environment Project "Promotion of the European Eco-Label for Footwear (ECOFOOT)".
