SLTC offer conference bursary
The Society of Leather Technologists and Chemists invite applications for bursaries to attend their annual conference. The bursaries will cover entry to the SLTC conference 2005, entry to the annual dinner dance, and accommodation.
Applications are invited from those aged 40 or under who work or study in a leather related area, for example a tannery, supply company, manufacturer, or support body such as BLC or Satra. Application forms and further information are available from Mrs Pat Potter via email at patpotter9@msn.com. The deadline for applications is Friday 19 August.
The bursaries are from the Dorothy Jordan Lloyd memorial trust which was set-up in memory of the former research director of the British Leather Manufacturers' Research Association. The trust aims to support and encourage young people working in the industry or engaged in relevant research to travel and study leather science.
