Armenia Exports More than 40% of its Leather and Textiles to EU

14 December 2018

According to Business Armenia, Armenia’s annual export growth in their textile and leather sectors was somewhere between 35% and 45% during the last three years, with more than 40% of all produce being exported to EU countries.

In order to stimulate further investment, the Armenian government has put in place a number of assistance programmes. Their aim is to make Armenia an attractive platform for European and Asian investors.

Due to the country’s membership to the EAEU, investors can establish textile manufacturing bases in Armenia while enjoying no custom duties on exports to other EAEU member countries.
