In animal nutrition, they serve to improve feed hygiene and digestion, and as a result allow food of animal origin to be produced in a particularly eco-efficient manner. 2-Ethylhexanoic acid (2-EHA) and Isononanoic acid are chemical intermediates for many different industrial applications, including the manufacture of plasticizers, pvc stabilizers, lubricants and drying additives for coatings.
