BLC leather and footwear course

1 August 2005

In response to demand from customers, and building on the success of the one day Understanding Leather and Footwear Construction course, this new four-day practical course develops the manufacturing side of footwear, covering: leather, feet and lasts, pattern cutting, clicking, closing, lasting and making. The course, scheduled for August 30 to September 2, 2005, will be run in conjunction with the Footwear Centre at Tresham Institute of Further and Higher Education, with two days held at BLC in Northampton and two days at Tresham Institute in Wellingborough. Organised by BLC as part of a growing suite of training courses, the course offers an invaluable opportunity to learn more about both the technical and practical aspects of leather and footwear manufacture. Ideal for all levels, those who wish to enhance their existing knowledge as well as those with no previous experience, the course will appeal to a broad range of potential delegates from retail buyers to technologists. Benefit from a broader knowledge of leather and footwear manufacture with BLC's new four-day footwear training course.
