Bosnia and Herzegovina seven month production.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's Federal Statistics Office reports that leather industry production in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first seven months of this year was 7.9% lower than in the same period in 2004. In comparison, overall industrial output in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from January to July was 5.7% higher year-on-year. The country produced a total of 64,000 sq m of leather for use in the manufacture of shoe uppers in the first half of this year, as compared with 83,000 sq m in the same period in 2004. 55,630 head of cattle of a total weight of 8,010 tonnes were slaughtered in abattoirs in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first half of 2005, respectively 6.4% and 18.8% higher than in the same period in 2004.
