News - Brazil

This week sees the start of the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) in Shanghai and the Brazilian companies taking part expect to sign deals that will exceed $200 million.

This is a figure put forward by the Centre for Tannery Industries of Brazil (CICB), whose initiative "Brazilian Leather" is supporting the 24 companies from Brazil that are taking part. The aim of this initiative is to drive more leather exports from the country.
With over 22,000 people expected to visit the fair, the Brazilians have reason to be so optimistic.

Those visiting should take time to wander over to a highlight of the Brazilian participation which is the Leather Preview Expo which will be showcasing leathers especially designed for the season coming next.
