Brazilian Leather to disembark in New York for the Première Vision fair

13 July 2017

Three Brazilian tanneries are participating in the the Première Vision New York fair on 18-19 July.

The tanneries will exhibit their hides with the support of Brazilian Leather, an export incentive project carried out by the Centre for Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

This is the first time that Romeu Couros will join exhibitors at Première Vision New York, although it already supplies its high-quality bovine skins to small customers in the United States.

"We want to intensify our presence in this market within the next two years, so we chose Première Vision, which is focused on special items and reaches the major brands," says Rodrigo Saragiotto, company director.

In addition to Romeu Couros (booth A8), Krumenauer Cortume (A2) and Soubach Special Leathers (A6)  will participate in Première Vision. The Brazilian Leather project will also have an exclusive space (A10), where it will display the skins of several Brazilian tanneries that participated in Leather Preview, a trend anticipation show.
