Call for papers for ALCA 105th meeting

Abstracts are preferred via email and must be submitted by January 30, 2009. Abstracts should be sent to the Chair of the Technical Program:

Completed papers, in publication-ready form, are expected by June 1, 2009. Manuscripts must be submitted in electronic format, either as an E-mail attachment or on a CD-R disc. These papers must be submitted in standard American English using the Windows format with Times New Roman or Arial fonts preferred. E-mail versions are considered complete and require no submission of hard copies. CD-R submissions must be accompanied by two sets of hard copy. The manuscript should include copies of illustrative material and these copies need be reasonably close to reproduction quality. Completed manuscripts can be emailed to the Journal Editor at jalcaeditor@prodigy.net.

The presentation of papers at the convention will be limited to 25 minutes. In accordance with the Association Bylaws, all papers presented at the annual meeting will be submitted to the Journal of the American Leather Chemists for consideration for publication. If accepted for presentation at the annual meeting, papers are not to be published elsewhere, other than in abstract form, without permission from the Journal Editor, Robert F. White.
