Howe lose BMW contract

Howe Leather said they will begin to cut staff after losing a BMW account. They say sales could fall by as much as 10%. John Schaffer, company owner, said yesterday that the galling part of losing the German BMW upholstery leather contract after 17 years was that one of the litigants behind the pressure on the Federal Government, US company Eagle Ottawa, would benefit.
