Industrial Production in Tunisia Down in First 9 Months

2 November 2018

Tunisian industrial production has fallen 0.5% in the first 9 months of the year, compared with last year, according to their National Institute of Statistics.

The drop is due to the struggling petroleum refining sector, amongst others.

The textile, leather and clothing industries all grew, however, and agricultural food strengthened by a huge 6.9% on account of the increase in olive oil production.
