Ireland's Central Statistics Office reports that Ireland imported leather and leather products worth €5.3 million in the first five months of this year, as compared with €4.6 million in the same period last year. Irish exports of the same types of commodities in the period from January to May were worth €7 million, as against €7.4 million in the corresponding period in 2004.
