Tanneries and location: Currently there are five tannery and woolskin production units in operation on the one site in Mengzhou City. A further two units are under construction and will be completed soon. The units are as follows:
- 1. Wool-on/doubleface sheepskin processing
- 2. Wool-on finishing plant
- 3. Chamois leather tannery
- 4. 2 woolskin production sites
- 5. Fellmongery/pickling plant (under construction)
- 6. Leather finishing plant (under construction)
Henan Prosper also have joint venture agreements in Belgium, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
Production: Process 30,000 skins per day. Product lines include doubleface and lining footwear, doubleface garment, home furnishing and decoration, auto and cleaning products, paint rollers, medical equipment, baby and nursery products and pet products.

Other information: Since it was established by Michael Lu in 1994, Henan Prosper have grown rapidly to become the worlds leading wool-on sheepskin tannery. Michael Lu has a background in international commerce and could be described as energetic and driven. He has built up his business through an extensive knowledge of raw material sourcing and believes that both himself and his managers should get their hands dirty with hands-on processing onsite. Along with a local workforce he enrolled an international team of managers and consultants to expand the business further.
In December 2008 Henan Prosper signed a joint venture agreement with Spanish Group, Colomer to form Colomer Moda Co Ltd. Through the jv Henan Prosper are looking to expand further with the construction of a new fellmongery and finishing plant due to begin production in February 2010.
