31 January 2019

The Pakistan Mega Leather Show, a three-day-long event held annually and in its fifth year, attracted more than 15,000 visitors, providing them access to vital information and networking opportunities with both national and international customers.

Chairman of the Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) Agha Saddain, commenting on the great potential of Pakistan’s leather industry, announced that the Pakistan Mega Leather Show was a great success this year. “We have received overwhelming response from entrepreneurs, investors and all other stakeholders of this industry,” he added.

Participants in the show said the rapid growth of the tanning and leather industry has attracted many international buyers who are eager to invest in training facilities for the labour-intensive industry. These investments will improve the technical skills and productivity of the labourers involved in manufacturing leather goods.
