Pakistan’s LRC Chief Offers Assistance to Leather Industry

The director of Pakistan’s Leather Research Centre, Dr Hafiz Rabb Nawaz, has proposed a collaboration between the country’s leather industrialists and its researchers in order to create a better and clearer dialogue between the industry and his research centre.

"The centre is ready to assist the industry in product development and the efficient treatment of waste," he announced. He also said five PhD and three MPhil researchers will now be working with the LRC.

Announcing that research and development is vital for industrial development, he said his institution would help in fulfilling the protocols and requirements of international buyers.
