Report from day one of LeatherWorld Middle East

27 April 2016

It's day one of LeatherWorld Middle East (LWME) at the World Trade Convention Centre in Dubai and while there are about 20% fewer exhibitors overall, the European contingent is strong, building from last year's inaugural show, which sends a clear message that this is a region worth investing in.

The boutique feel and spacious halls create a very upscale feel, and organiser Messe Frankfurt is focused on quality than quantity; the core mission of Premiere Vision to whom LWME gives a nod here in that regard. While day one still has to kick into gear, the buzz is growing among tanners, designer, and those offering accessories and other finished products.
