Tanneries and location: The group run five tanneries located around the Arzignano tanning district in Italy as well as two international plants in Brazil and Vietnam.

The group also have regional offices in Australia and Spain.

Production: The group processes around 16 million bovine hides per annum and specialise in producing high quality calfskin leathers. The group in broken down into individual divisions producing leathers for footwear, leathergoods, furniture upholstery, automotive, aircraft and shipping leathers.

Other information: Rino Mastrotto is one of the most recognised tanners in the world and is a leading figure within the Italian leather industry. The current Rino Mastrotto Group structure was formed in 1998. However, the Mastrotto family have been in the tanning business since 1958 when Rino's father, Arciso Mastrotto acquired the Aurora tannery and his sons were involved in the business. Rino Mastrotto evolved his personal involvement in the business and in 1969 founded Conceria Basmar specialising in high quality calfskin leathers. Subsequent tanneries have been added to the group to form the company we see today.
