22 November 2017

Sadesa has been awarded three new GOLD certificates by the Leather Working Group (LWG).

Sadesa Thailand (Sena) was the first tannery in the world to receive the maximum environmental recognition, which has now been renewed for the seventh consecutive time.

Sadesa Thailand (Kabinbury) again obtained a GOLD Award after being re-audited against the LWG environmental protocol.

Sadesa Lomas (Buenos Aires) exceeded the scores required to achieve GOLD rating in all critical sections of the audit for the first time.

The LWG environmental audit protocol, whose purpose is to supervise the environmental performance of tanneries, was jointly developed by tanners, brands, and chemical and industry suppliers.

The GOLD certificate is the highest ecological award in the industry.

Sadesa has the largest number of LWG GOLD certificates, which are recognised as the highest ecological award in the industry.
