The industry of Colombia will hold its fair in person format

The Colombian International Fair of Leather, Footwear, Leather Goods, Supplies and Technology (IFLS + EICI), will be held in person from June 2 to 4, 2021 in Bogotá. The halls will present 240 exhibitors of footwear - much less than those who normally participate -, leather goods, supplies and technology and expect to receive more than 4,000 national and foreign buyers.

IFLS + EICI are organized by the Colombian Association of Footwear, Leather and Manufacturing Industries (ACICAM), whose national Board of Directors has decided to hold the fair in person "seeking to offer an alternative for the process of reactivation of the industry."

In this sense, Jorge Andrés Zuluaga, president of the National Board of Directors of ACICAM, explained that "although the year started with a better expectation given the gradual opening of trade, the sector has been becoming more dynamic thanks to digital commerce." Likewise, the leader warned that "the months of February and March already show better dynamics and we begin to see higher orders for the sector.

The IFLS is the largest business platform for the leather, footwear and leather goods sector in Colombia and the Andean Region, which will present the latest trends in design and fashion of finished products for the first half of 2022. The main companies of the Colombian industry and products from invited countries such as Brazil, Mexico and Italy.

The fair will be held from June 2 to 4, 2021 in the Corferias pavilions, in Bogotá, and simultaneously with Createx, the input fair for the textile and clothing industry.
