Instead of being held in December, the Allforshoes event will be held two months earlier. The next edition of the fair will be held in the Kingstar Exhibition Centre in Wenzhou (Zhejiang) between Friday 19 and Monday October 22, 2001. Exhibitors at the show will be shoe and tannery machinery makers, tanners and accessories producers and manufacturers of synthetic materials and fabrics.

Allforshoes occupies 6,000m² of exhibition space and is aimed at attracting companies wishing to do business in China’s developing and expanding shoe industry. Wenzhou is a major base for the Chinese footwear industry and approximately 600 million pairs of shoes are produced there every year.

The show is co-organised through a union of four industry associations to form the Ouyi Exhibitions Services Ltd company. Ouyi is a joint venture between the Wenzhou Association of Machine Constructors, Assomac the Italian Association of Shoe, Leathergoods and Tannery Machinery Manufacturers, the Taiwanese Association of Shoe Machinery Manufacturers (TAMI/Shoemaking Machinery Committee) and the Wenzhou Shoe Material Association.
