APLF Ltd, organisers of a number of leather and leather product exhibitions such as the APLF and ACLE, has launched a new event: Fashion First – Europe. The new show will be held at Brussels Expo Centre, Belgium, from January 31 to February 2, 2005.
APLF Ltd claim that Fashion First will be the first trade exhibition ever organised for Asian and other competitively priced footwear and fashion accessories, in the heart of Europe. The show is aimed at being a gateway for cheaper priced footwear, leathergoods, leather garments, bags, travel goods and accessories from Asia to the strategically located city of Brussels.
Visitors targeted to attend the new event are Europe’s importers, distributors and retailers, giving them direct access to the world’s most competitive manufacturers and suppliers from Asia, South America, Türkiye and eastern Europe.
Michael Duck, APLF Ltd director, explains: ‘Following the progressive shift of manufacturing centres to Asia and South America’s resurgence as a highly competitive supplier, we felt compelled to respond to the requirements of European distributors and retailers by creating a showcase of competitively priced goods, in the centre of the European Union.’
The highlights at Fashion First will include the latest fashions in footwear from major manufacturing bases such as China, India and Brazil, to the hottest styles in leather garments, crafted leathergoods, travel goods and accessories.
Fashion First – Europe will be held twice a year in keeping with the fashion calendar. The first event will be held from January 31 – February 2, 2005, and the second one from June 6-8, 2005, also at the Brussels Expo.
