Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister, Ivan Bambiza, says that sales of cattle and poultry for slaughter in Belarus increased by 12% in 2006 compared with the previous year, according to the Belta news agency. Bambiza added that 19 cattle-breeding facilities were modernised in Belarus last year.
