The British School of Leather Technology (BSLT) will be using this year’s Tanning Tech event in Bologna to launch their official alumni database.

The BSLT, who are based at University College Northampton (UCN), are calling for all ex-students and associates of the school to visit the stand at Tanning Tech 2003 and register their details with the Corium Club. The data collected will allow the school to keep graduates and colleagues informed about events, successes and changes within the school, as well as helping former students to arrange reunions in Northampton and meetings throughout the world. Joining the Corium Club is free.

Gordon Paul, Head of the Leather School at UCN, said: ‘As the foremost educational facility for learning leather technology, the BSLT has alumni across the world. The Corium Club has always existed, but with the appointment of an Alumni Officer to UCN, it has meant we can really invest more time in building and managing our database to the benefit of all our alumni and we can now re-launch the Corium Club and open it up to all.

‘So we’re encouraging all former colleagues, students and associates of the BSLT plus graduates and colleagues from the Proctor Department of the University of Leeds, to come and see us at stand A18, Hall 35 at Tanning Tech 2003 to register with us. This will mark the beginning of what we hope will be a very successful association.’
