The 2002 annual seminar held in Melbourne on June 27 marked the 10th anniversary of a close working relationship between BLC Leather Technology Centre and the Australian and New Zealand tanning sector. Barry Wood, operations director at BLC, was delighted to welcome 70 tanners and associated industry representatives to the seminar and dinner.
The event, which has become an annual fixture in the ‘leather’ calendar, offers delegates the opportunity to benefit from the latest research and technical developments at BLC and to share their own experiences in a congenial environment.
BLC currently has 16 members in Australia and New Zealand and continues to look for opportunities to build new membership contacts.
