Al Hida’a the only specialised show in the Middle East dedicated to raw materials, leather garments and footwear, finished leathergoods and components is to take place September 27-30, 2003. The fair also attracts suppliers of tannery machinery and chemicals as exhibitors.
The 10th edition of the show is due to take place at the Expo Centre Sharjah, UAE and it is open to the trade only. The fair is supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The oil-rich Gulf region enjoys one of the highest per capita incomes in the world and the average consumer buys four pairs of footwear per year. The leather and leather product market in the region is valued at US$1 billion.
Many of the visitors attending the show will be from the the Gulf Cooperation Council countries located close to the UAE. Al Hida’a is the best place to meet and trade with such buyers.
