Yves Morin, new CEO of CTC Groupe, will make a presentation entitled: ‘CTC Groupe, Over 100 years of expertise in footwear, leather and leathergoods’. CTC mot only assists suppliers, manufacturers and retailers in improving quality but their expertise is constantly updated through its competitive intelligence system.
CTC offers a network of 150 specialists in a wide range of fields including: analysis and testing raw materials and final product, R&D, training, environmental services, audits and inspections.
The conference will take place on Monday,March 31 from 13:30 to 13:50 in room 606 on the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (Harbour Road Entrance).
Dr Jean-Claude Cannot, director of sustainable development, CTC Groupe, will present ‘REACh and finished products’. REACh is a new European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use. It gives greater responsibility to industry to manage the risks from chemicals and to provide safety information on the substances.
Manufacturers and importers will be required to gather information on the properties of their chemical substances. This seminar will focus on finished products (footwear, garments) and how to interpret and implement the new law.
The conference will take place on Tuesday, April 1 from 11:30 to 12:30 in room 608 on the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (Harbour Road Entrance).
