Türkye’s leading leather fair, International Leather Days (ILD), is gearing up for its 13th edition next January. The forthcoming edition is set to take place at the Tüyap Beylikdüzü Fair Centre, Istanbul, between January 8-10, 2004.
ILD is now well established in the leather fair date calendar and last year 37,240 visitors from 55 countries attended.
It is organised by Ezgi Ajans and includes exhibitors from the tanning, leather garment, leather chemical and leather-making machinery supplier sectors.
At next year’s show companies will display their autumn/winter 2004-05 leather fashion collections.
Additionally, the exhibition will feature the winning designs from the leather products design competition known as the ‘5th deri’signer’.
The competition has previously supplied the Turkish leather sector with new creative designers and designs that underline the Turkish leather image.
Forward bookings for the next edition are up 26% compared with last year.
The total number of participants of ILD 2004 has reached 159 as of June 25 and the exhibition space already reserved has increased by 41% compared with the same period last year.
