He was very actively committed to supporting the American Leather Chemists Association in many ways. He was a past president, contributing author and was instrumental in facilitating the relocation of the ALCA office to Lubbock. He also served as a member of the editorial board for the Journal. Robert F White, journal editor, writes: ‘I will miss his council and support. May he find eternal Peace.’
