Spring and summer 2005 leather collections will be on display at the trade fair, Le Cuir A Paris, later this month. The 5,000m2 show is being held at the Paris Expo-Porte de Versailles, April 15-16 featuring 150 exhibitors from 12 countries.
Fashion and new materials will be the key themes at this year’s event. The show organisers, SIC Group, have introduced a trend selection area highlighting the colours, textures and designs destined for 2005.
Among the new items, ERRECI will be presenting a completely fire retardant leather which has been designed to be used on furnishings used in public places, homes or footwear. Lauret will be displaying their latest range of nappa leathers which have been imprinted with velvet stripes. Around 2,000 high quality visitors are expected to attend the show including buyers, designers and stylists from a number of leading fashion houses. Approximately 60% of the exhibitors will be from the tanning sector.
