Serbia’s Statistical Office reports that Serbia exported leather and leather products worth USD56.3 million in the first five months of this year, as compared with USD46.5 million in the same period last year. Serbian imports of the same types of commodities in the January to May period were worth USD91.2 million, as against USD73.1 million in the corresponding period in 2005.

Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reports that Israel exported leather and leather products worth USD6.5 million in the first five months of this year, the same figure as in the corresponding period in 2005. Israel imported the same types of commodities worth USD37.3 million in the January to May period, as against USD36.3 million in the same period last year.
