New automotive topcoat

TFL have launched two new products onto the market. Roda Car dull 92 from TFL is an opaque, aqueous top coat, which offers an outstanding soft touch, excellent flow, good degree of opacity and no repolishing effects. This top coat is a crosslinkable compound of carbo-diamide, polyziridine and polyisocyanates products. The resultant film shows excellent chemical and physical results, particularly when it comes to the stick and slip test.

Economical dyeing auxiliary with excellent levelling effect

Level dyeing is a crucial element in leather processing and considered to be the ‘business card’ of tanneries. Dyeing auxiliaries help to improve the quality of the dyeing and are therefore commonly used around the world.

New Invaderm RA completes TFL’s range of levelling auxiliaries with affinity for dyestuffs. The innovative product provides a very good retarding effect with an interesting price:performance ratio. Due to the retarding effect, dyeing with mixtures of different dyestuff types is more level on the surface and in the cross-section. The retarding effect will also slow down the fixation of the dyestuff, resulting in better penetration and levelness.

Invaderm RA is used when different dyestuff types are being mixed and applied together. It improves levelness and shade consistency. With the retarding effect on anionic dyes, it makes them more compatible, thus considerably improving both levelness and reproducibility from batch to batch.

It improves dye penetration ensuring more uniform and better penetration of the dyes as it slows down fixation.

Invaderm RA also improves the uniformity of buffed articles by enhancing homogeneous penetration of the dyes into the cross-section, which results in improved levelness of buffed articles such as nubuck and suede. It is suitable for all kinds of leather articles.
